Structure

 

 The Friends of CVU is a made up of people who are interested in supporting and promoting the mission of the organization. All members of the Friends are volunteers. It operates with the following structure:

 

 Chairman

 Serves a one year term as the organization co-leader.

 

 Co-Chairman

Appointed by the Chairman after soliciting volunteers. At the end of his/her term, the Co-Chair becomes the Chair. The Chair and Co-Chair will reside in different towns and appointments will rotate through all five towns on a continuing basis.

 

 Secretary

Appointed by the Chair after soliciting volunteers, the secretary records minutes of each meeting.

 

Treasurer

Appointed by the Chair after soliciting volunteers, the treasurer manages the funds of the organization and communicates information about funds at each meeting.

 

 Town Representative

Appointed by the Chair after soliciting volunteers, the town reps act as liaisons between the five towns and the organization.

 

 Events Committees

Volunteers work on special projects and assignments as required. (We strive to have a Chair and a Co-Chair for each committee with the intent that the Co-Chair becomes the Chair the following year)

Fiduciary Committee

 

To approve  an annual budget for the Friends of CVU.

Review funding requests and reach decisions regarding allocations of funds
