I want to thank all the parents and fans for all of your support through out the season. Special Thanks to the Echo Family for supplying the team with bottled water all season and providing Lunches for our trip to Mt. Anthony. Lastly I would like to Thank the Players and Coaching Staff for all thier Hard Work and Dedication thought out the season.
2009 SEASON UPDATE
FOUR PLAYERS RECEIVE METRO TEAM HONORS:
2ND TEAM INFIELDER: ANDREW NICK
2ND TEAM OUTFIELDER: COLLIN TEATOR
HONORABLE MENTIONS: JOE MYERS AND ANDREW LECKERLING
The Red Hawks finished the season 4-13. They lost to Mt. Anthony 3-2 in the Playdowns. Collin Teator and Shane Montani lead the offense with 2 Hits each. Montani pulled in a pair of RBI's. Teator helped his pitchers all day with great plays in the field and 7 Put outs on the day. Starting Pitcher Theron Fuller went 4 Innings giving up 3 runs while taking the loss. Alex Hopkins came in relief and pitched two shut out innings.

17th, 2009- Rico Petrocelli Baseball/Softball Breakfast Fundraiser:
Former Red Sox Player Rico Petrocelli came
to CVU High School and spoke about his career in Major League Baseball.
He brought his wife Elsie and son Dan to discuss how baseball effected
their lives. Rico told everyone some stories about what went on in the
club house and about how baseball changed his life.
