Annual Craft Fair along with season end Local Farm Market

Dear Handcrafter,

We are organizing our second annual craft fair and wanted to invite you to join us this year. We had 65 presenters last year and are expanding our invites to a total of 90 presenters, the maximum our gym space will hold. We will have a large percentage of people returning due to the success they had last year. We will be balancing the number of crafters from any one medium, so let us know soon if you would like to join us.

CVUHS Craft Fair along with season end Local Farm Market

Crafters will be in the gym, fresh food vendors from the Hinesburg, Charlotte, and Shelburne Farmers’ Markets will be in the cafeteria.

Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21. 10 am – 4 pm both days. Setup will begin at 7 am on Saturday.

Proceeds Support Access to CVU –Community Education for All.

Plans for 2007

Local Farm Market will bring more shoppers into the building
Students will be on hand to help presenters unload on Saturday, pack up on Sunday
Spaces will be a full 10 feet wide and another few inches
We expect to be completely sold out of space this year
Advertising efforts and spending will double this year
Each different craft will have a limited number of direct competitors
Free admission for shoppers
Free parking for shoppers
Expanded menu for lunch and snacks

Expectations of Presenters Coming to CVUHS

Add to the positive atmosphere of this important community event
Artisans are expected to sell only their own work
Everyone needs to stay the full 2 days, and begin packing up after 4 pm on Sunday
Payments for spaces from this invitation are first come, first included
Parking behind building in designated area after unloading goods
Donation of one $25 and up item to be included in our scholarship raffle fundraiser.

We are organizing our second annual craft fair and this year adding a Local Farm Market component to enhance our event. We hope to have 25 local produce growers along with food items they produce to join our 75 crafters. We will have crafters in the gym, growers in the new very large cafeteria. Please consider joining us for this annual event that brings people from all over the region to shop and taste the best we have to offer.
