Campers develop learning strategies, utilize educational resources at CVU, and exercise respect towards peers, adults, and property. 

☼☼Counselors develop job-related responsibilities & improve management techniques.   >30 CVU students employed since 2008!

☼☼☼Participation Trends  This year’s Camp facilitated a learning community with approximately 1 in every 3 incoming 9th graders interacting with 20 current/former CVU students, four CVU staff, and an on-site director.

☼☼☼☼Support Scholarship Efforts & Generate New Learning Opportunities  The CVU Summer Camp provides equal opportunity to access resources at the high school.  Since 2002 Camp has provided over $42,000 in scholarships to families that request support.  Applications for scholarship sponsors are submitted annually to local organizations.  Since 2002 Camp has deposited over $37,000. Please help encourage sponsorship sponsors from school & business groups.

Access directors seek to improve educational offerings for PreK-8th families throughout the year.  What are other ways the Camp can provide job training for current high school students? Would other seasonal offerings attract PreK-8th grade students and families to CVU?
